We will not skate around the point – we want YOU to join us at Evergreen Lake on Saturday, February 26th for some ice-skating fun and hot cocoa! Did you know that skating is said to be more beneficial than cycling and running for joint health? Through gliding and synchronized movement of the legs, ice skating works for every major muscle group in the body, especially the joints.

Whether you are interested in strengthening a skill or learning something new, we invite you to TRAILBLAZE with Backpacks + Bleeders over ice! Registration includes ice skate rentals, a private warming hut and ice rink for two hours!
REGISTRATION CLOSES 2/25 12PM MST

NOTE: Consistent with NHF COVID Policy, all participants aged 12 and older must demonstrate proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the event and all attendees will be required to complete a health screen for admittance to events. Contact us directly with questions.
YOU AND YOUR BLEEDING DISORDER:

Backpacks + Bleeders empowers individuals to get active with their bleeding disorder! This means knowing when to factor up beforehand for intense activity. No matter the activity we recommend having on hand an emergency dose of factor – accidents happen and we plan to be prepared! You know your body best – are you prepared for this activity? Do you have an active target joint? Do you have a joint with low mobility? It is always a good idea to ask your local Physical Therapist if they believe you are ready for the planned activity!
