Looking for Walk Volunteers

HSC is looking for volunteers and committee members to help organize, plan, spread the word and fundraise for the 2011 Colorado Walk for Hemophilia: East vs. West.  The Denver Metro Walk will be held on August 13, 2011 at Sloans’s Lake.  Details about the Western Slope Walk are coming soon!

HSC is seeking individuals that can work closely with the Executive Director to raise money for the Walk, support others registering for the Walk, provide fundraising support for team captains, help with planning logistics, market the Walk, and recruit volunteers. We are looking for volunteers in both Denver and on the Western Slope.

Last year, the community raised over $28,000 for bleeding disorders!!!  This year we hope to rise $35,000 to support services and programs benefiting those affected by bleeding disorders and their families. The only way we can reach this goal is with support from people like you!

Volunteer skills needed include:

  • Corporate sponsorship fundraising
  • Individual fundraising and coaching
  • Marketing – online and print
  • Logistics management
  • Volunteer development
  • More!

Don’t have experience in any of these areas, but still want to help? We want you there! There are great opportunities to learn about these skills, connect with the community, and raise money for bleeding disorders! You don’t need to have a lot of or any experience to be a part of the committee and planning. It’s passion that makes the difference!
