Executive Director, Amy Board
Amy comes to the position directly from the University of Colorado Denver Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center, so she is certainly familiar with the bleeding disorders community. She had been Program Coordinator at the HTC since 2009 (part-time since 2003), and had been intricately involved in the NHF chapter’s educational programming. She also served as Director of Colorado’s Mile High Camp since 2008. Amy has a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University, and is enrolled at Regis University in Denver with course studies towards a Masters in Nonprofit Management. She loves her family and her dog and believes Peyton Manning will take Bronco Nation to the promise land this season.
Development Assistant, Rebecca Strelitz
Rebecca began working with the Colorado Chapter of NHF in January of 2012 and brings with her several years of administrative experience. She is a currently pursuing her graduate degree in Environmental Policy and Management at the University of Denver and holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She’s a native to the east coast but has been a Colorado resident for more than 20 years. She feels at home in the outdoors and currently lives in Denver with her two cats, Jackie and Sheena. In her free time she loves to cook, hike, and skateboard.
