The Program Services Committee is responsible for the planning of programs for the bleeding disorders community in support of the NHF mission in the Chapter’s stated coverage area. The Program Services Committee will work to create, sustain, and improve the quality of services for its members of the HSC community. Hemophilia Society of Colorado is striving to develop strong programming to serve the Colorado community and compliment the work of the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center’s patient care.
HSC current and future programs include, but are not limited to:
- Financial Assistance Program (ongoing)
- Academic Scholarship Program (annual)
- Education Day (annual)
- Ad hoc educational opportunities (ongoing)
- Women’s Retreat (annual)
- Mile High Summer Camp (annual)
- Family Camp (annual)
- First Step (ongoing)
The Program Services Committee’s responsibility is to oversee the administration of these programs in coordination with the HSC executive director and the HSC board. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing resources to our community and conducting effective program evaluation.
