HTC Move Info

For over five years members of the community have heard HTC talk about “the move”.  The university has required us to move out of our existing space in Building #500.  After several failed attempts to find other space, our plans to locate to a more desirable space have materialized.

Construction is almost complete on a brand new 17,000 square foot space in the University Physicians Building.  The building is a LEEDS certified building constructed with green initiatives.  The new space will include improved features such as:

Clinic space- 4,400 square feet with 6 exam rooms, 3 consult rooms, and children’s play area for better patient care and shorter clinics.

  • Pharmacy—2,200 square feet
  • Offices—11,000 square feet to accommodate all staff
  • Video Conferencing and Telemedicine  for training and education
  • Large shared conference room for meetings
  • FREE, close and covered parking for patients
  • NO change in main phone numbers
  • Only ONE address—mailing and delivery address will be the same
  • A new website address and a shorter name: no longer Mountain States Regional Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center

We believe this updated and enlarged facility will enhance your patient experience at the HTC and enable us to serve you better.

The HTC has been required to fund this costly relocation itself.   Additionally, we will have substantial annual lease payments on an ongoing basis.  Funds from the 340B pharmacy have been dedicated to this purpose.  Your partnership in choosing the HTC Pharmacy as your factor supplier has made this move possible.

HTC Plans for 2011

One of the major goals of the HTC this next year is to improve our communication with patients, community physicians and others involved with the HTC.  We hope to establish mechanisms that allow for more rapid communication through the use of the Internet.
